Welcome!

While you probably know me if you are reading this, my first blog entry, I think regardless that I should start with an introduction and an explanation. I have been following blogs for years now, since I discovered Google Reader in law school.  I follow blogs on pretty much every topic under the sun--news, entertainment ews, law, fashion, lifestyle, food, and hyperlocal.  I came to realize that a lot of the lifestyle blogs I was reading are all from Mid-Western Women, NYC Chics, and L.A. Ladies.  And while I find their blogs interesting and often times inspiring (from a fashion, food, and design perspective mostly) I have a hard time relating.  I also came to realize that the reason I had no Westchester lifestyle blogs is because I can't really find any! Most of the local blogs in my Feedly list are corporate blogs from Lohud and Westchester Magazine.  They are well edited and professional, but they aren't usually "lifestyle" or personal.  My goal is to fill that void and provide the content I have been looking for.

So one might ask, what is Westchester Living looking for? Well as someone who consumes information for fun, I think the better question is what aren't I looking for? But basically, I am looking for things that are relevant to me:

Apartment Dwelling Homeowner (with dreams of being a housedweller one day)
Professional (government attorney)
No children (yet, but maybe in 9+ months or so)
Foodie
TV watcher
Weekend Activity Seeker
Friend
Left of Center
(avid fan of parenthesis)

Gym go-er
Social Media fiend

and of course, Westchester resident!
